Judy has worked as a receptionist at Riser since 1984. It's a job she really enjoys and loves the pets that come in every day. She has a small dog named Bao, who is always lots of fun. She is married with three children and six grandchildren.

Olivia started at Riser Animal Hospital in June, 2010. She is studying Biology at North Eastern Illinois University in preparation for veterinary school. Olivia volunteers at the Shedd aquarium, and has a twin currently studying law.

Lindsey has been working here at Riser Animal Hospital since 2010 while going to school. She enjoys it very much and has two dogs but wishes she had more free time to take care of pets.

Melissa started here in April, 2011. She has a huge passion for animals, especially fluffy little guys. Melissa has three Shih tzus named Molly, Britney and Gizmo. She is considering a career working with animals.

Kelly is studying Psychology at UIC, has a pet ferret named Frodo. Loves Lord of the Rings and Dungeons and Dragons.

Ady has been at Riser for many years. Her primary duties include running the lab and taking x-rays. She shares her home with husband Bob, daughter Erin and cats Woodstock, Bethel, Ivory and Smokey.

Kevin S. is one of our most experienced technicians, having been part of the Riser family since 1994. Beyond veterinary science, his interests include computer-based sound design and soundscaping. His family includes a beautiful wife and daughter, two dogs named Jingles and Chillita, a cat named Alice and Petri the sugar glider.

Debbie has been working with the Riser team since 1995. She enjoys all animals and has 5 cats of her own. With her hard work and dedication, Debbie is proud to have achieved what she has at Riser. When she is not at work, Debbie enjoys reading and cooking.

Kerri has been at Riser since 2000 and is an honors graduate of Oakton Community College. She is a member of the ASPCA and the Chicago Herpetological Society. Kerri is a trained technician who takes pride and joy in treating every pet here as if it were her own. She is especially kind and gentle with geriatric pets and those that need a little extra TLC. In addition to doing all of the grooming, Kerri takes care of all of our pet boarders. She loves to pursue photography and writing as well as rock climbing.

Jenny has been with Riser since 2004. She has 4 dogs, 4 cats, a rat, fish and a horse named Athena. She really enjoys working with animals and has known since she was a little girl that this is what she wanted to do. Some of her duties at Riser that she enjoys most include assisting in surgery and performing dental procedures.

Carmel, born and raised in the Philippines, also has a veterinary degree from there and used to practice on livestock. She’s been working here at Riser since 2005 and is a great technician. We love her sweet and innocent nature!

Ramona was a practicing veterinarian in Romania before coming to the US with her husband, a priest at a local church. She works as a technician here and brings many skills to RAH since starting in 2008.

Jason is an EMT-paramedic for a private ambulance company, and also works as Patient Care Technician in the emergency room for Northshore Hospital. He is currently studying to be a fireman.

Bryan is a recent graduate of the Veterinary Technician Institute at Fox College. Since April of 2010, he's been excited to work here and looks forward to the skills he'll learn. His favorite pastimes include spending time with his friends, watching the Blackhawks win and taking care of his cat Hades and countless fish.

Kevin has been a member of the Riser staff since 2007. He is studying Art at Loyola University, and is working on several internet projects which he hopes to launch soon.

Carol joined Riser Animal Hospital staff in early 2011. Her time is spent in both the kennel area and as a vet assistant in the treatment area. She is currently proud of her three happy, loving cats.

Oreo, a domestic short haired cat, has made his home at Riser for many years. He does his daily rounds of all his sleeping spots while he oversees hospital operations. Here he is on full alert.
